SAVE THE DATE! Friday and Saturday, March 18-19, 2022
The 227 Project, in collaboration with Call for Backup, is hosting a Post Critical Incident Seminar for Michigan police officers and their spouses or significant others who have been impacted by a critical incident. The Post Critical Incident Seminar will provide education on trauma, patterns of resolution, and field-tested coping strategies to promote recovery and resilience. Peer support is also an important element in the process. Discussion of incidents with fellow police officers who have "been there" promotes normalization and recovery.
The Post Critical Incident Seminar is FREE to all who attend, including the program, dinner, and lodging on Friday night as well as breakfast and lunch on Saturday. Attendees who are accepted into the program need only provide their own transportation to Taylor, Michigan.
