Humanizing the Badge is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that exists to help forge stronger relationships between police officers and the communities they serve.
The 227 Project was started to honor the memory of Corporal Matthew Edwards (Badge #227) who was killed in the line of duty in the City of Taylor, Michigan on July 23, 2010.
